Flight Simulator 98
Hi there Gamingalliance community, Flight Simulator 98 was my first and current flight simulator. I know it's very old compared to the (great) today's simulators like FSX, but unfortunately the people who play FSX know how much space it takes on their hard drives and these people have the best graphic boards atm...I'm not one of them, but let's quit the off-topic. Altough this is an old game, I have lots of fun playing it, even with a steering wheel (can't afford a yoke, plus I have no space for it). It is primitive when showing the world, almost everything is flat, only mnountains, USA skyscrapers and monuments (even a volcano) all over the world are shown very primitively, still...it's very basic in what comes to the graphics as a conclusion, but in what comes to controlling the airplane, it has everything (more stuff in add-on airplanes) and that's what makes you have fun while playing this game.
The ppl that tried this game, feel free to post here.

P.S: Correct me if my post has some mistakes

Re: Flight Simulator 98
I've only been to the cockpit of real airplane, never played any game in FS series.
So I can only make out how the game will look like and feel like.

I'm good at landing and taking off. Which is essential because in mid-flight, you can use auto-pilot .
But it's better to do everything yourself.
Custom Flights are the best. I oncwe made one from Gatwick to Shanghai I believe.
Veryyy long flight.

yeah...as I said, FS98 has most of its scenery flat...unfortunately, the Madeira Airport isn't that real because of that problemAdmin wrote:I'm good at landing and taking off. Which is essential because in mid-flight, you can use auto-pilot .

Still, I like to fly vintage planes, props like the Beech Baron, jets like the Caravelle and the very beautiful 727...

I dont clearly remember which model it was. but considering the widht as I remember, I think it was Boeing 737 or A320.I was too small to distinguish which model it was just 9 years old.
BTW:How many times and in which aircraft have you guys travelled?
