Leech facts

* EA sports had the rights to make a F1 game. After that Sony got them. If Sony still has them is still not clear. Bu well, EA had the right to make a F1 game, we don't. Therefore it is legal to make add-ons instead of a complete new game.
* Making a mod which you can run without the F1 Challenge 99-02 game is illegal. You're publishing a game, and even not yours! It's the F1C engine, and that IS leeching.
* F1 is not against modding, but it is against others releasing F1 games. Therefore they sell rights to people who may release a game.
* As it's legal to make F1 mods for an existing game like F1 Challenge, RH and CTDP are legal. Not becaus every single F1 mod is legal, but they have created own scratch build cars. They made this in 3DS Max, Zmodeler, Maja or any other modelling application. They haven't reshaped already created F1 models from someone else (reshaping F1C cars is legal if you release them for F1C).
* RH basicly is F1 Challenge 99-02, as they have created cars and perhaps more for this game. So who dares to call RH mods illegal?...
* GP4 cars may be converted to F1 Challenge 99-02 with the explicit permission from the REAL author. So if someone converted the GP4 car, modified it and gives it to you, it's not for the modifier to decide if you have permission. It is the real GP4 author!
* HEXEKING mods are reshaped RH cars, and as RH has never given any permission, they are illegal. 2007 or 2008 mods based on HEXEKING cars are therefore also illegal.
